Privacy

This page says what Trade Studio keeps and where, as it works today. A full privacy notice is being prepared.

If you booked a job

The business you booked with keeps your name, address, phone number and email, and the details of the job, so it can do the work and send you messages about it: confirmation, changes and reminders, by email. Every reminder has a link to stop them. Your booking is with that business; ask them about your details.

If you work in a business on Trade Studio

We keep your name, email address and role, so you can sign in with a code sent by email. There are no passwords.

Where it's kept

In a database in Frankfurt, in the EU. Emails are sent through Resend. To stop abuse of public pages we count requests per connection, storing a scrambled (hashed) form of the address, not the address itself.

On your device

Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in. Your choice of Light or Dark is saved on the device, and with your account if you're signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and screens are never recorded.
